SURF Mentoring

Potential projects/topics: The project the student will work on will be a regional-based project broadly focused on the recent changes of the teacher incentive allotment program. The project will focus on how these changes are related to teacher quality and retention.

Potential skills gained: Student(s) will gain early exposure to applied education research, hands-on experience with basic data organization and analysis, practice communicating findings clearly, and an understanding of ethical and equity considerations in education.

Required qualifications: Sociology/Psychology, Social Science, Policy Studies
