SURF Mentoring

Potential projects/topics: Data analysis and Monte Carlo simulation for nuclear and particle physics experiments at the Large Hadron Collider (CERN), and future proposed colliders.

Potential skills gained: High throughput, computational intensive data analysis and simulation skills; knowledge about cutting edge experiments in high energy physics.

Required qualifications or skills: Some basic knowledge in programming such as C++, python, linux environment is helpful but not required. Students in (or intending to be in) physics majors are preferred.
