"If you already have a project in mind, don’t hesitate to reach out to faculty members and ask them to mentor you or supervise your project! Whenever I’ve had ideas that I wanted to pursue, I would just go to faculty info pages and email the people with related interests. If you don’t know what you would like to work on, ask someone in a field you’re at least tentatively interested in to talk to you about their work...Doing this helped me find a topic I was really passionate about, and it’s a topic I’ve continued to pursue for over a year now!"
