Jenessa Shapiro Award

The Jenessa Shapiro Award is given in honor of the founder of the Rice Undergraduate Research Symposium to the most outstanding student presenter at RURS. The award recognizes the ideals of the scientific enterprise exhibited by Dr. Shapiro throughout her career at Rice: curiosity, ingenuity, creativity and hard work.
